Description
Building on foundational Registered Nurse clinical competencies, students will develop advanced competencies in health assessment and diagnostic reasoning essential for nurse practitioner clinical practice. Focus will be on evidence-informed practice, culturally safe care, and critical inquiry as it applies to assessment and diagnosis of common health concerns in diverse clients and settings.
Restriction(s): Only open to MN-NP students.
Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): NURS 831.3; NURS 832.3; and NURS 833.3.
Note: Students with credit for NURS 879 or NURS 884 will not receive credit for this course.
